Entrance to McConnell Library

You are looking at the main entrance to McConnell Library, on the campus of Radford University.

From 1913 to 1932, the Radford College Library was housed in the Administration Building.  In 1932, a separate building was completed and named in honor of Dr. John Preston McConnell, first president of Radford College.  The original two-story building was supplemented in 1967 by an annex of four floors and in 1995 by the addition of a fifth floor.
