How to print from a wireless laptop to library printers?
Before beginning, be sure that your laptop has the latest Operating system updates and Anti-virus updates.

Click on Start > Run > type \\lab-print OK.
Or just click the link above.
From the list of printers choose the one you want by double clicking on it to set up. See the list of printers at the bottom of this page for location.

If you receive the following error message, see below for the probable reasons.




Probable Reason: Clean access needs to be running or has lost connection.
Log-in to Clean access by right clicking on the symbol and selecting login. If a login was previously established from an earlier session, a refresh might be needed by logging out and then logging back in to clear the error.

If the following message appears when you try to set up the printer, see below for probable reason.



Probable reason: Your computer requires the appropriate Anti-virus or Operating System updates before access to the printers is allowed.

Or try the steps listed below:
Click on Start -> Printers and Faxes -> Add a Printer
    Follow the instructions on the Add Printer Wizard.
  • When asked to select a Local or Network Printer, select the Network Printer option
  • When asked to Specify a Printer, select the second option that states : Connect to this printer.
  • Name: \\lab-print\printer-name
  • Replace 'printer-name' with the appropriate printer from the list below
