Where are the magazines, newspapers and journals?
McConnell Library has electronic as well as paper copies of journals, newspapers, and magazines. To see if a periodical is available electronically use McConnell Library's Journal Finder. After you have searched for your title, if you see McConnell Libray as a choice, click on it and this will take you to our catalog and show which volumes we have and the formats available.

Paper copies of magazines, newspapers and journals (back issues and current issues) are shelved in alphabetical order on Level 2. Pre-1985 volumes are in compact shelving on Level 1. The current issues of titles designated as Popular Periodicals ( i.e. Time, Better Homes and Gardens, etc.) are located in the Reading Room to the right as you enter the library. The Library provides over 15,000 current titles in electronic and print formats, including scholarly and professional journals, general interest magazines, and local, regional, national and international newspapers.
