Classical Music Library is a listening database of over 35,000 tracks of music from over 30 record labels. It covers classical and art music from the medieval period to the 21st century.

• Search for music by composer, musical genre, instrument, artist, period, etc.
• Find playlists for a number of themes and for music appreciation textbooks
• Link to biographies and images of composers in Classical Music Library and Grove Music Online
• Find MIDI files of selected works

By registering as an individual user, you may

• create your own personal playlists that are stored in Classical Music Library
• purchase and download tracks in Windows Media Audio (WMA) or MP3 formats (download is not available for all tracks)

For faculty:

• Create folders with playlists for specific classes
• Use "static URLS" to link to folders or specific tracks on WebCT, web pages, and e-mails.
