Archives Collection Part 1 Mission And Goals The Radford University Archives serves as the official and final repository for the historical records of Radford University from its establishment in 1910 to the present time. The institution was previously known as the State Normal and Industrial School for Women at Radford (1910-1924); Radford State Teachers College (1924-1944); Radford College, the Womens Division of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (1944-1964); and Radford College (1964-1979).
